As of April 1, 2008 Medicare has become proactive in this area as well. It has eliminated “clean intermittent catheterization” (AKA: wash and reuse) in favor of “sterile intermittent catheterization.” Now all Medicare beneficiaries are entitled to a new sterile catheter and a packet of sterile lubricant for each catheterization up to 200 per month. All you need is a prescription from your doctor. We feel this updated Medicare policy is truly life changing for our customers.

Our motto is, “Fewer UTI’s for Better Living” and we have developed the Summit Sterile Catheter Program to achieve this goal. Our program is specifically designed for individuals who use intermittent catheters on a daily basis. All of our qualified customers on the program receive enough catheters delivered right to their home each month; it's so convenient. Just imagine, never needing to wash a dirty catheter again!

Summit Express Medical Supply is an “Accredited” Medicare Provider and distributes urological products from all of the major manufacturers including Apogee, Bard, Hollister, Kendall, Mentor/Coloplast, Rusch and others. We work with your doctor to get your supplies covered by Medicare or private insurance with no out of pocket cost to you. With your doctor’s approval, Medicare will cover 80% of the cost of your supplies. Your secondary or supplementary insurance will cover the remaining 20%.  We never ask for any up-front fees and we submit all the necessary paperwork to Medicare or your insurance company.
